Whether online or offline we use a variety of tools and signs as a way to find our way to where we want to go. At this month’s meeting we’re not only going to talk about those tools in our physical and digital lives, we’re going to hit the streets to find real-life examples in a Wayfinding Scavenger Hunt.
We’ll start out the evening at the Capital Area District Library’s Downtown branch where we’ll do an intro to Wayfinding before dividing into teams and heading out on a photo scavenger hunt. Each team will be given a list of wayfinding devices to look for and asked to take pictures of them on their smart phones. Instagram is accepted and even encouraged.
After the hunt, teams will gather at Michigan Brewing Company for awards and are welcome to hang out for drinks and food after.
