As designers a lot of times our focus is on users attaining an end goal, but what if our designs encouraged people to explore, be spontaneous, and creative? That’s what Interaction and Experience Research (IXR) at Intel Labs and the IxDA are asking with this year’s Student Design Challenge.
Current students and 2012 graduates are invited to share their perspectives on the theme of ‘Playful Technology’ with the chance to win a trip to Interaction13 in Toronto. As a part of the conference, those who win scholarships will also be able to take part in a dynamic masterclass-held before the conference-to address these design challenges and compete for additional prizes.
Video entries are being accepted between now and December 1, 2012.
